1. Information We Collect

We only collect information in the following limited circumstances:

Email Address

If you use the contact/feedback form in Settings, you may voluntarily provide your email address so we can respond to your message. This is not linked to your identity.

Feedback Messages

When you submit the contact form, we collect the message text and issue category you select. This is used solely for customer support and is not linked to your identity.

Referral Source

We ask a one-time question about how you found the app (e.g., “TikTok”, “friend or family”). This is used for internal analytics and is not linked to your identity.

Purchase History

Subscription and in-app purchase data is managed by RevenueCat, our purchase processing provider. RevenueCat links purchases to an anonymous user ID and collects device-level information (device ID, app version, OS version) for purchase validation. We do not collect or store your payment information directly.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

To be clear, Tally does not collect or use:

• Analytics or tracking SDKs
• Crash reporting SDKs
• Advertising or ad networks
• Health or fitness data sent off your device (HealthKit data stays on device)
• Location data
• Device identifiers sent to our servers
• User accounts or authentication
• Cookies or web tracking

3. How We Use Your Information

The limited information we collect is used to:

• Respond to your support and feedback messages.
• Understand how users discover the app so we can improve our outreach.
• Process subscriptions and in-app purchases through RevenueCat.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone.

4. Third-Party Services

We use one third-party service:

RevenueCat — handles subscription and in-app purchase processing. RevenueCat collects an anonymous user ID, device ID, app version, and OS version for purchase validation and management. For more details, see RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

5. Data Storage

All workout data is stored locally on your device. We do not have access to it.

Apple HealthKit data (such as step counts) is read by the app but never transmitted off your device.

You can export your workout data as a CSV file at any time from within the app.

Information submitted through the contact form (email and message) is stored on our servers and retained only as long as needed to resolve your inquiry.

6. Children's Privacy

Tally is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information through the contact form, please reach out to us and we will promptly delete it.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
